Cacao Almond Overnight Oats

Add creamy almond butter, naturally sweet oats, almond milk, and cinnamon
to the mix, and you have a perfect vegan breakfast that everyone will love!

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup (40 g) of rolled oats

  • 1 banana

  • 1 tablespoon (8 g) of ground flax seeds

  • 1 tablespoon (9 g) of chia seeds

  • 1 tablespoon (6 g) of raw cacao powder

  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter

  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) of almond milk (or any other plant-based milk)

  • a pinch of cinnamon

  • a pinch of salt

SERVING

  • Mixed berries and/or your fruit of choice

  • Your favorite granola or nuts for the crunch

Method

  1. Mash half a banana in your favorite bowl, jar, or to-go container.

  2. Add the dry ingredients, milk, and almond butter.

  3. Mix everything in, cover, and let it get some zzz overnight in the fridge.

  4. Top off the oatmeal with fresh or frozen berries in the morning,
    the other half of the banana, and a bit of granola for the crunch.

  5. Enjoy!

Time-saving tip: Measure all the dry ingredients your day off and split them into 5 separate to-go containers. Then, add mashed banana, milk, and butter the night before and combine everything. You'll have a delicious and nutritious breakfast for the entire workweek in no time.
